Throughout my career, I've worn many hats as a singer, songwriter, musician, producer, and arranger and recording engineer, working alongside some incredibly talented artists and making a lifetime of musical memories.

At the age of 73, I made the decision to retire from performing as the keyboard player for Grammy Award-winning Louisiana music legend Wayne Toups, closing one exciting chapter of my musical journey to focus on another lifelong passion — SONGWRITING!

These days, I'm concentrating on writing new songs, revisiting some of my earlier compositions, and pursuing a new music publishing deal for both my personal catalog and the songs represented by LONYO TUNES, my publishing company, which is now proudly owned by my daughter, Jacey Simon.

After more than five decades in the music business, my love for creating music is as strong as ever. I may have stepped away from the stage, but the music certainly hasn't stopped!

This website is a work in progress, and I'll continue adding songs, stories, photographs, career highlights, and updates as this next chapter unfolds.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back often!

The journey continues… and so does the music!
